TIP ONE – a journey of journalling

Taking just a few minutes each day to reflect on what you’re thankful for can improve your mood, reduce stress and increase overall happiness. The month of June is the perfect time to begin gratitude journalling as part of our mid-year Grateful in April project, a Journey of Journalling. We will be sharing ideas to help you get started on your gratitude journal.

Even just a single thought expressing gratitude can be life-changing, so if writing isn’t your thing, don’t worry! A voice note, taking a photo or creating a sketch of something you’re grateful for is just as effective. For Tip One, our prompt is that you reflect on your daily routine and something you’re grateful for about it. If you’re struggling with routine, note down how you can make it more efficient, and express gratitude to yourself for focusing on self-care!
