Tip 16 for our mid-year Grateful in April project, a Journey of Journalling, is to write about a time when you did something kind for someone else, and how it made you feel to help them.
Helping others is a powerful way to make a positive impact in the world. Whether it’s a small gesture like holding the door open for someone, or a larger act of kindness like volunteering your time to help a cause you care about, the act of giving can be incredibly rewarding.
Think back to a time when you did something kind for someone else. Maybe you helped a friend move house, gave someone a heartfelt compliment, or donated your time or money to a charity. How did it feel to help that person?
Did it bring you joy and a sense of fulfilment to know that you were making a positive difference in their life? Write about your experience and how it made you feel to help someone else. Remember that kindness can come in many forms, and even small acts can have a big impact.
Let’s make a commitment to spread kindness wherever we go and make the world a better place, one act of kindness at a time.
