Another day, another 48 metres (!) of fabric being made into drawstring bags at the m.a.d.woman Foundation HQ!
In the past few weeks we’ve used nearly 10km of overlocker thread too, not to mention hundreds of metres of drawstring threads (and pins, we’ve needed so many pins!) and hundreds of metes of cotton sewing threads.
We’re making gorgeous bags to house our special care packs going out to Australians facing challenges.
We create these beautiful bags (and are so grateful for the amazing volunteers who help with sewing too) to ensure the packaging of the care packs are also a beautiful and practical gift in themselves. The feedback we get is great.
