hair to help mystery box

Our hair to help project mystery boxes contain a selection of 10 hair accessories (a mix of scrunchies, hair ties and bows) all handmade by our volunteers in Australia. The boxes have been put together by our m.a.d. kid ambassadors Maddy, 12, and her sister Teegs, 10, who themselves have made 1000 hair accessories for this project. Fabrics for this project include off-cuts from designer prints, scraps from Australian handmade businesses and a selection of new and rescued pieces. PLEASE NOTE: All boxes will contain different items and fabrics and the photo is just an example of one box. Sales will help fund The Pencil Case Project to provide 1000 hand-sewn pencil cases filled with new schools supplies to Australian children in foster care, shelters, seeking asylum, in hospitals and facing other challenges. It will also help us provide an additional 1000 care and activity packs. Each box sold will cover the costs to provide gifts for FIVE children, so this really is a gift that keeps on giving.
