Single people who missed out on a New Year’s Eve date have another opportunity to find love – while doing good for their community.
With Valentine’s Day approaching, m.a.d.woman (making a difference) is looking for singles with a good heart to help combat urban poverty.
m.a.d.woman is running Helping Hearts, a major event for single people aged 25 to 44 to date for a cause at the Fitzroy Town Hall on Tuesday 14 February.
Participants will get a chance to find friendship or even love while making care packages for people in need. They’ll be creating care packs, kids’ activity kits and other practical gifts for people supported by charities including Whitelion, Concern Australia and the St Kilda Gatehouse.
Part profits will go to the Five in Five campaign which supports all three charities.
Tickets are must be pre-purchased for $75 each and are only available at https://madwoman.com.au/m-a-d-events/
To ensure balanced numbers, men’s tickets are on sale now and women’s tickets will be released at noon on Thursday 12 January.
