Can you, or someone you know, help? When school starts for the year, there will be kids all over Australia facing disadvantage who could use some new supplies.
This includes kids in foster care and in refuges fleeing domestic violence, children in families struggling to pay bills and in families new to Australia.
Here at the m.a.d.woman foundation we are busy sewing as fast as we can to meet our aim to make at least 500 cute pencils cases (like the one pictured). We really need help filling them!
We are looking for new and unused items. For this project we are also looking for items which are not branded with company names.
We would also welcome donations of money – you get a tax deduction and we can shop on your behalf (we don’t pay gst and often get discounts). You can make your donation here.
