We are really moved and inspired by this very special donation. Two sisters, aged nine and 10, saved $52 through 2017 for a charity project. They chose to use it to help us with our back to school project!
They took their savings to go shopping to help us provide school supplies for 500 kids in foster care, refuges and facing disadvantage.
Their Mum said they loved the experience and worked together to calculate their spending and how much of each item to buy. “It felt really good to be doing something that I knew was helping others” – Ms 10.
We just LOVE seeing their kindness in action and hope you do too! We hope it inspires you to also help – we are more than half way but still need more donations of NEW and UNUSED stationery/tax deductible cash donations.
