A HUGE thanks to an incredible bunch of volunteers who helped us cut and sew more than 530 toiletry bags and heat packs for Impact, a Melbourne group supporting women fleeing domestic violence. We are very grateful to Janet, Kathryn, Mairi, Joanne, Cassie, Nicole, Jacqui, Nicola, Dave, Shona, Allyson, Bassem and others who joined our CEO Melina in completing this project which was done in conjunction with Sewing for Charity Australia. The project also involved using fabric samples so there was an environmental aspect to it too. Many hours and personal resources went into this project. Everyone’s incredible efforts are very much appreciated.
